My recent stay at Casa San Giorgio was nothing short of extraordinary, exceeding all of my high expectations. The location was ideal, just a short stroll to the lake and surrounded by charming restaurants, allowing for easy access to local dining options. I was particularly impressed by the stunning rooftop terrace, where I enjoyed magical evenings sipping prosecco while taking in the amazing views of Varenna. The room itself was impeccably clean, equipped with tea and coffee facilities that provided a comforting touch after long days of exploration. Most notably, the hospitality from Elisa and her team was really good; they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless, including a personal pick-up during an unexpected travel disruption. I cannot recommend Casa San Giorgio highly enough for anyone seeking a serene and lovely getaway in Varenna.
